Download/Installation and Participation Information (English)
1) Download of Marratech
Marratech is a video conferencing system that requires as a minimum DSL connection and a relatively powerful computer. It runs on Windows/ Mac and Linux.

Firewire web cameras, iSight is strongly recommended.

2) Installation
To install, simply double click on the executable file and follow the installation wizard.
3) Entering the Panel Discussion Room
There are two ways of entering the Panel Discussion Room:
a) Start Marratech first. As soon as you see a WebBoard on the left and the participants area on the right, type the following URL into the adress line of the WebBoard:
http://us.emeetingportal.com/launch.jsp?sid=165
Username: PanelLis
Password: marratech
b) Do not start Marratech first. Just click on the link below:
(It might be, that you are offered a *.jnlp file. Save on desktop and then click on Open)
All of the above mentioned ways of entering mean, that you join the room as a so-called: Listener without any permissions (listen only). We will promote you to be able to text chat, voice chat and use your webcam at the beginning of the panel discussion.

3) Den Panel Discussion Raum betreten
Es gibt zweierlei Möglichkeiten den virtuellen Raum von Marratech zu betreten:
a) Starten Sie zuerst Marratech. Sobald Sie ein WebBoard auf der linken Seite und den Teilnehmerbereich auf der rechten Seite sehen, tippen Sie folgende URL in die Adresszeile des WebBoards:

b) Starten Sie Marratech noch nicht. Klicken Sie nur auf den untenstehenden Link.
DEN PODIUMSDISKUSSIONSRAUM BETRETEN
(es kann sein, daß Sie eine *.jnlp angeboten bekommen. Wenn dies der Fall ist bitte speichern und dann auf Öffnen klicken)
Mit Eintritt bekommen Sie automatisch den Status Listener, d.h. Sie haben keinerlei Aktionsmöglichkeiten (listen only). Wir werden es Ihnen dann am Anfang der Podiumsdiskussion ermöglichen per Textchat Fragen zu stellen und das Mikrophon und WebCam einzuschalten.
